The 2024 Vosne-Romanee Village includes just 10% stems this year. This has an open-knit bouquet with cranberry and raspberry fruit, just a touch of rooibos tea/bergamot evolving with aeration. Delicate but delineated. The palate is medium-bodied with very pliant tannins, silky smooth with a bright tensile finish, veins of blue fruit lingering on the aftertaste. Superb. 90-92 points

No whole bunches, a question of tank space. Two plots in Reas and one in Riviere, the former responsible for 17 barrels out of the 20. Quite a pale colour with a lacy nose of some delicacy. A lovely strawberry/raspberry fruit with a useful crunch to finish. 90-92 points
