Vignes de la Famille Tawse
A negoce blend, with fruit from Roncevie, Les Seuvrees, Le Fourneau and Es Murots, all towards the bottom of the slope in Gevrey. In line with most Tawse cuvees this year, there is no whole bunch (there just wasn’t room in the vats). Excellent. Sapid, cherry-ish fruit, good mid-palate depth, savoury finish. The style is fresh, gourmand and very drinkable, and it captures the vintage nicely. (NT 18/12/24)

The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a perfumed floral bouquet with wilted rose petals infusing well-defined red fruit aromas. The 15% whole bunch imparts a subtle peppery note. The palate is medium-bodied with good depth and fleshy tannins that frame the sorbet-fresh red fruit with a touch of cracked black pepper and bay leaf on the finish. This is a composed Gevrey Village to enjoy over the next decade. 89-91 points

A blend from across the appellation, six vineyards making 24 barrels from 1.2ha. Lovely ruby purple. 15% whole bunch. Once again it gives the extra lift in this case on a more full-bodied fruit on the palate, raspberry and strawberry, good acidity and fine length. 90-92 points
