2023 Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis

The 2023 Chablis Village offers pretty orchard fruit on the nose with a touch of chalk dust. The palate is well balanced with more tension than the Petit Chablis. A touch of sour lemon and green apple on the finish. Fine. 87 points

All kimmeridgian. Pale colour, much more depth to the fruit than the Petit Chablis. But this is honeyed with yellow plums and tropical fruit before the salinity returns. Attractive in its style. 87-89 points
