A relatively new producer to the mountain, although the vines for his red are as ancient as they come - around 100 years, own-rooted, on the north-eastern slopes. Gravelly aromas of red fruit and slate, this is composed and serious on the palate, lean and precise. Great freshness and lift, as is typical of Etna, and good promise for the future. (JH 16/10/2025)
