Jasper Morris
A fine medium deep purple. The nose has a certain red fruit succulence, not over demonstrative, and the velvet texture of the red berry fruit is completed by good acidity. The fruit returns very nicely right at the back. Good stuff. Drink from 2028-2034. 90-91 points

The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Village has a well-defined nose with open, brambly red fruit, forest floor scents, and a hint of morels. The palate is quite smooth on the entry – this is a cohesive Chambolle with a fine bead of acidity and a prickle of spice towards the finish. Maybe a little conservative, but it is a classically styled Chambolle that will give a decade`s worth of drinking pleasure. 88-90 points
