Antonio Galloni
The 2022 Relentless is shaping up to be a beauty. Soaring, high-toned aromatics make a strong opening statement. Crushed flowers, ripe red fruit, pomegranate and blood orange develop with some time in the glass. The alcohol feels just a bit on the high side, but there are enough other things going on to pull this wine together. 91-93 points

Still in barrel, the 2022 Relentless is a co-fermented blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Petite Sirah. It shows some of the effects of the early September heat wave in its notes of baked blackberries combined with hints of menthol and white pepper on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is silky but firm, finishing with a tart edge. 91-93 points
