The 2022 Family Vineyards Pinot Noir features a bouquet of spicy cherry, potpourri and subtle tree bark, presenting a fresh and succulent profile. Medium to full-bodied, it boasts a balanced structure with fine-grained tannins and a fresh beam of bright cherry, strawberry and cranberry notes, accented with fern and tea leaves, showcasing elegant spice. Subtly oaked and with a refined finish, this wine demonstrates focus and precision that exudes sophistication and depth. It matured for 11 months in French oak, 29% new. A total of 19,750 bottles were produced of this delightful Pinot Noir. 93 points

Family Vineyards is an equal combination of north and south-facing sites and is correspondingly self-assured and well balanced. Fermented with 20% whole bunches and aged in 29% new oak, it has lovely weight and freshness, goji berry, pomegranate and wild strawberry flavours and precise, granular tannins. 94 points

Pinot on sandstone and granite clay. So much fruit! It`s bounding out the glass with enthusiastic pizzazz. Sweet strawberries and strawberry leaves. Borage-leaf notes, a little minty, fresh and fragrant. Super-lithe tannins. A friendly lick-your-face puppy of a wine. You want to scoop it up and not let it go. 16.5 points
