Jasper Morris
From purchased grapes. All their negociant cuvees they pick themselves on their date of choice. This comes from a grower who has been organic for 20 years. 30% whole bunch vinification. Dark fruit, little bilberries. Solid, workmanlike, almost too concentrated and not quite elegant enough. Some sun-dried cherries here. Ready to bottle. Drink from 2026-2030. 87-90 points

Aromas of spices, plums, cherries and sweet red berries introduce the 2022 Marsannay Les Crais, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered wine with good concentration, a seamless profile and a mouthwateringly chalky finish. 89-91 points
