Centenarian, ungrafted vines in eastern Crete.
Light bricky red. Intensely aromatic, like the 2021, with sour-red fruits and yet there is a sour-fresh sweetness, too. Medium-bodied, drily tannic and still a bit challenging unless you drink it with food. Opens up to some notes of dried red fruits and on the way to a more floral evolution. An aromatic beauty yet still structurally demanding. A Cretan classic. 17+ points
