2021 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Bodega Thieriot

The 2021 Pinot Noir Bodega Thieriot is a new wine in this range made from a young, recently planted vineyard in just its second year of production. The aromatics alone are beguiling, but the wine remains a bit compact in feel. I suspect much of that has to do with vine age. Bright red-toned fruit, lavender, sage, blood orange and spice lend exotic beauty throughout. 93 points
