2020 Valle dell`Acate Frappato

Mesmerising aromas! Black tea, dried raspberries, rhubarb, rose petals, bergamot and floral honey. The palate carries the same savoury flavours over a layer of bright cherry and cranberry fruit, soft tannins (reminscent of Darjeeling) and stony mineral character on the finish. Super-elegant, with an impression of delicacy despite surprising structure. Fascinating wine which performs significantly above its price! (JH 23/06/22)
