2020 Tandem Inmacula Viognier/Viura Navarra

A blend of 85% Viognier and 15% Viura from Navarra, a relatively cool, Atlantic-facing part of Spain, north of Rioja. Crisp green apple and ripe pear, with notes of peach and something zesty, kiwi fruit perhaps. The palate carries the richness of Viognier, with melon and ripe apple - like the green jellybaby! Neatly balanced by a kick of minerality from the Viura, this has loads of flavour, plenty to enjoy! Great value. (JH 24/10/2024)
