The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Vergers 1er Cru has a sprightly and energetic bouquet with yellow plum, lime and citrus peel, actually quite Puligny-like in style. The palate is very harmonious with a fine bead of acidity, a little resinous in texture and perhaps the Maltroie displays more mineralité and tension on the finish? I expected a little more. 89-91 Points
