Very pale colour, the nose is rather more elegant than the village Chassagne. Picked on the first day. This is beautifully juicy with a classy ripe white fruit and some ripe citrus notes, long finish. Racy and ripe at the same time. 13% alcohol. 93 points

Aromas of orange oil, pear, beeswax, bread dough and anise introduce the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes, a medium to full-bodied, taut but fleshy wine that`s bright and charming. This is a gourmand but controlled Chenevottes that will offer a broad drinking window. 92 points
