2020 Meerlust Cabernet Sauvignon Stellenbosch

Polished blackcurrent and bramble fruit, with a herbal-spicy lift and a creamy note, savoury and understated. Soft and rounded on the palate, with delicate tannin framing a long finish. The heat of the 2020 vintage is balanced by the restraint imposed by the exposure of the Meerlust vineyards to the wind from two oceans. (JH 22/05/25)
