The 2020 Pinot Noir Brauneberger Klostergarten *** is open-hearted yet deep and refined on the intense and slightly flinty, slightly saline nose that indicates super ripe and elegant fruit of cherries and slightly brown apples. Silky, generously lush and very elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied and very intense yet balanced and stimulatingly saline Pinot Noir with a spectacular long, dense, crystalline and saline finish. This is a superb and persistently mineral or saline Pinot Noir from the Mosel that promises excellent aging potential. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in August 2024 from AP 15 23. Drink 2029 - 2050. 95+ points
