The 2020 Saint-Aubin Derriere Chez Edouard 1er Cru (Rouge) comes from vines planted in 1959. The nose is clean and pure, mulberry and bilberry, not complex but focused. The palate is a bit chewy on the entry, a bit of sinew towards the backend at the expense of refinement. Square-jawed. 88 points
