(cask) dark, shiny robe; the bouquet carries a finely sweet tone of southern ripeness, the mulberry-led fruit aroma clear and pure. It’s an inviting opening. The palate is graceful from the off, most well-tuned around delicious red fruits, a stroking quality in the tannins. It purrs along, is a really comfortable ride, the best velvet of Greffieux in the glass. This is a winner, good pedigree, harmonious and classy. The finish is beautifully curved. Drink 2025-49. 5*
