Jane Anson
Plenty of white peach flesh through the mid palate. Open and exuberant, would benefit from higher tension to keep up the momentum from beginning to end, but there is plenty to enjoy here. 40% new oak. A yield of 40hl/ha. 91 points

The 2020 Bouscaut Blanc comes racing out of the glass with bold notes of fresh pineapple, white peaches and Bosc pears, followed by hints of lemongrass and lime zest. The medium-bodied palate is clean and zippy, featuring bags of stone fruit and citrusy flavors, finishing decadently tropical. 90-92 points

68% Semillon, 32% Sauvignon Blanc. Aged 12 months in oak barrels (40% new). Interesting Semillon-dominated blend that is fresher than Ferrande`s and, on the basis of past vintages of Bouscaut Blanc, should age well. Waxy textured with green fruit and leafy flavours. Very lively with good breadth. Thoroughly rewarding. Quite long. 17 points
