Jasper Morris
Mostly from old vines and even the young ones are 35 years old now! Mid yellow, with an impressive weight of fruit, some mirabelles, Charles is now picking a bit earlier than he used to here where there is plenty of clay in the lower part, on red earth. This is very complete, and while the 2020 Narvaux follows his liking for ripe fruit, there is a structure behind to maintain the balance. Ripe lime notes filter through and this is exceptionally persistent. Pretty classic Meursault, frankly. 93-95 points
