Oldest vines of the property, 85 years old, pre-war. Slightly paler in colour than its stable mates, very fine bouquet with the delicacy and complexity one hopes for in Genevrieres, a big step up from what was already a lovely Charmes. Excellent tension behind, enough flesh, complex threads including a little fresh apple, ripe lemon zest, long steely finish. Yes please!
