The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Village contains 20% whole bunch and 30% new oak. It has a lovely, lilting brambly red berry nose infused with orange blossom and sous-bois aromas; very charming. The palate is silky-smooth on the entry with a fine bead of acidity, hints of dark chocolate infusing the red fruit and a persistent finish. Excellent. 90-92 points

Made from a range of lieux-dits throughout the village with 15%whole bunches and 25% new wood. Pure fresh bright purple, crisp and clear, lovely perfume of balanced raspberry, with some cherry notes behind on the palate, and some wood. Solid and more serious than the Maison version, with greater length too. 90-92 points

Subtle but not imperceptible wood surrounds the fresh and cool aromas of red cherry, warm earth and again, plenty of floral elements. There is fine volume and intensity to the tautly muscular and firm flavors that are sufficiently well structured to reward up to a decade of keeping on the youthfully austere and rustic finale. Worth considering. 89-91 points
