The 2019 Nuits Saint-Georges Village showed just a little reduction on the nose, but it opens nicely in the glass to offer black cherry and raspberry fruit, the 10% new oak binding the aromas together. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, slightly chalky on the entry and displaying lovely blood orange notes and allspice toward the finish. Quite structured for a Village Cru, it deserves a couple of years in bottle. 89-91 points
