Le Meal is a 2 hectare parcel of old Marsanne vines - some are up to 50 years old, with correspondingly low yields. The vines are planted on glacial deposit soil with large pebbles that help warm the soil and retain heat, contributing to the good ripening of the grapes. The plot has a excellent solar exposure, reflected in the character of the wine: notes of exotic fruit, mango and roasted pineapple, complemented by a rich, creamy texture. (NT 10/05/20)
