Tight, tart and quintessentially, wonderfully, evocatively northern Italian - low-intervention (yet very clean) winemaking has resulted in a fresh young wine redolent of red cherry, rose petal and bitumen, a hint of black pepper and slighty under-ripe strawberry. Mostly Nebbiolo, with Croatina and Vespolina - almost the same blend as the Bramaterra, but in a more accessible style. Exciting wine, with ripe, silky tannin and bright fruit, an ideal pairing with amost any meal, especially in warm weather. (JH 02/07/2021)
