2018 Arlaud Bonnes Mares

Secondary Description
Bonnes Mares straddles Chambolle and Morey, and there are 4 million years of geology between the terres rouges at the Morey end and the terres blanches at the southern Chambolle end. Because of the small size of the cuvee (Arlaud holds 0.2ha here) Cyprien is using no new wood to raise the wine, just 1-year old wood. This is really something. Perfumed, layered, with super-fine tannins. Persistent and endowed with an extremely elegant finish. What a wine! (NT 06/01/20)
