Alto Piemonte
From a vineyard adjacent to their Martinazzi cru in the Casa del Bosco, less steep and bottled under the regional appellation (equivalent to `Langhe` bottlings in Barolo). Crunchy and fresh, with pretty red fruit aromas, very inviting with notes of clove and old wood. The palate is neatly framed by ripe, almost imperceptible tannin, lingering on rose and raspberry. Delightful! (JH 04/01/2024)
