A new bottling from a vineyard planted in 1907 in sandy soils that includes significant proportions of Grenache and Carignan among its Zinfandel vines, the 2016 Zinfandel Steacy Ranch exhibits lovely aromas of cassis, plums, dried Provençal herbs, cherries and black tea. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, supple and succulent, with melting tannins and an ample, giving profile. 93 points
