Neal Martin

The 2016 Rabaud Promis was a little subdued on the nose compared to its peers when I tasted the wine from barrel. The palate is fresh on the entry with tangy orange peel and marmalade, good depth and acidity, a touch of spice enlivening the finish. It does not quite have the harmony of its peers, but it should gain cohesion during its élevage. 91-93 points

Jane Anson

A blend of rich, well placed quince and citrus confit flavours, with white pepper and smoked almond notes. It has a lovely sense of frame and balance, but they could ratchet up the tension by another few notches. It`s an undeniably luscious, highly attractive wine. The spiced notes really do flex all the way through this, bringing excellent focus. 91 points
