Neal Martin
The 2016 Grand Village Blanc has a very well defined, almost Burgundian bouquet of subtle tropical fruit, honeysuckle and a touch of vanilla from the oak (50% new). The palate is well balanced and saline in the mouth, displaying a fine line of acidity and just the right amount of bitterness on the finish. Very promising. 89 points

In 2016, the Grand Village Blanc is powerful and deep to the point of being a bit heavy, as many whites are in this vintage. Lemon confit, almond, chamomile and floral overtones add complexity throughout. 87-89 points
