DeMorgenzon is making some of the best Chardonnays in Stellenbosch right now in a style that is more powerful than those from Elgin and the Walker Bay. This 2016 is smoky and very aromatic, showing flavours of tangerine and nectarine, some coconut spice and a rich, satisfying finish. Drink 2017-21. 94 points
