John Livingstone-Learmonth
(used 228-litre cask) the robe has a rich-looking aspect. Coconut, honey, cinnamon airs show on the nose, with nougat. It has good clack, freshness. The palate is textured, holds gras with fluid richness, good density from within. It grips well late on. Lime, cool dried fruits, peach flavours mingle. 2027-28 Apr 2016 Previously Dec 2015 **** (cask, sugars and malo both completed) shiny yellow colour. The nose is good and deep, showing ripe fruit that leans towards mango, also white peach, with nutmeg also. it is a good ensemble already. There is a good heartbeat to this; it lengthens well, on freshness, and its content is prolonged. It is richer than the 2014. The flavour resembles peach near the stone. It is balanced, and the finish is clear. `2014 may have more acidity than 2015,` Marc Sorrel.
