Allen Meadows
Here too there is a discreet touch of wood setting off the ripe yet cool nose of green fruit, pear, apple and algae scents. There is once again excellent volume and richness to the intense medium weight plus flavors that terminate in a zesty, even tangy finale where the wood telegraphed by the nose reappears. 90-92 points

(13.3% alcohol; 40% oak). Pale yellow. Yellow peach and apricot aromas are held in check by solid minerality. Densely packed, broad and dry, conveying a distinctly glyceral texture in the style of the vintage. Ripe yellow fruit flavors are accompanied by a menthol element. Finishes warm and a touch bitter. 88-90 points
