Allen Meadows
This had just been racked and filtered and the nose was dominated by sulfur. Otherwise there is a rich and very generous mouth feel to the chalky-textured flavors that also display saline and bitter lemon hints on the acceptably long finish. This too should basically be approachable almost immediately. 86-88 points

(I tasted this sample from tank but a portion of this village wine had already been bottled by the time of my visit). Bright yellow-green. Very fresh aromas of lemon and lime lifted by spices. Boasts very good juicy intensity but shows a touch of youthful harshness. Not bad. 87-88 points
