Freeman`s 2015 Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley) is a very pretty wine. Sweet red cherry fruit, blood orange, star anise, mint, cinnamon and rose petal are nicely delineated. This understated, delicate Russian River Pinot shows the more finessed side of the appellation off to great effect. All the elements meld together in a compelling and delicious appellation-level Pinot from Ken and Akiko Freeman. 89 points

The 2015 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is pale to medium ruby-purple in color and intensely scented of Bing cherries, cranberries and pomegranate with touches of rose petals, cinnamon stick and fragrant earth. The palate is medium-bodied, finely crafted, refreshing and elegant with great red berry intensity and ripe, soft tannins, finishing long and perfumed. 308 cases produced. 90 points
