Despite being from a generous vintage, Charles Ballot managed to retain his hallmark tautness and tension, even in this relatively lowly bottling. It has taken a year or two to plump up a bit and now is showing its Meursault heritage. A delicious introduction to what Ballot-Millot can do. (CW 12/07/19)
