The 2014 Chambolle-Musigny Villages has a crisp, red cherry and raspberry bouquet infused with a touch of wild mint that gently opens in the glass. The palate is nicely structured with supple tannin, fresh, slightly gamey red berry fruit with an understated, tightly wound finish that will open up after a couple of years in bottle. 87-89 points

(from Les Bussières and La Taupe). Here too there is enough reduction to make assessing the nose difficult. There is good energy and lovely detail to the more refined middle weight flavors that possess good minerality on the dusty, linear and slightly lean finish. 86-89 points
