2014 Tandem Macula Cabernet/Merlot Navarra

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot. The aromas are immediately reminiscent of Bordeaux, with cassis and leather, and just a hint of dry earth. The palate shows a touch of charred oak influence, rounded and soft, with a touch of padron pepper adding complexity to the red and black berry fruit. Superb value here, a delicious, well-made wine.
