The Château Larrivet Haut-Brion 2014 seemed a little muddled on the nose and lacked the fruit intensity of its peers, perhaps affected by the rains in September. The palate is medium-bodied with soft dark plum and cedar fruit, though the finish feels smudged and needs more delineation and persistence. 86-88 points
