The La Fleur de Bouard 2014 has a rich and opulent bouquet, quite lavish, but it needs more delineation to come through. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannin, tightly knit blackberry fruit with a hint of charcoal toward the linear finish. This is a very “contained” Lalande-de-Pomerol that should stretch its wings after bottling, though I always find it difficult to discern much personality in Hubert de Bouard`s wine. 89-91 points
