The 2014 Bourgogne Rouge, which comes from vines in the lieu-dit "Lutenières" next to the RN74 and sees 15% new oak, has a clean and pure bouquet with quite plush red cherry and cassis fruit. The palate is silky to the touch, very harmonious and caressing, perhaps even touching village cru in standard thanks to the fineness of the tannins. 86-88 points

(from vines in Vosne). A perfumed nose offers up notes of violet, spice, plum and various dark berries. There is fine richness and concentration to the velvety medium-bodied flavors that display only a hint of austerity on the delicious, balanced and lingering finish. This is an excellent Bourgogne and highly recommended. 87-89 points
