Charming it may indeed be, but this Chambolle Premier Cru doesn’t lack backbone or presence. In fact, it was a little closed in barrel. Fine tannins, subtle redcurrant and raspberry fruit, skilfully integrated oak and taut, underlying acidity. Just getting into its stride. Drink 2019-26. 94 points
