2014 Grand-Puy Ducasse (Pauillac)

The Château Grand Puy Ducasse 2014 has a clean and pure bouquet: cedar and tobacco marrying nicely with the black fruit, though it needs a little more thrust. The palate is medium-bodied with a supple, fleshy, coconut-tinged entry. The oak needs to be better integrated with the fruit: it`s seductive at the moment but it needs to translate that into substance in bottle. 88-90 points
