The 2014 Fixin 1er Cru les Hervelets contains 10% whole bunch fruit from the very good looking grapes. It has an understated bouquet with dark plum and cranberry notes, just a hint of sea-spray in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, quite masculine and structured with a pointed finish. It just needs to flesh out a little once it is in bottle, and maybe I was just anticipating a little more complexity here. 89-91 points
