2014 Chapoutier Ermitage Le Meal Rouge

So remember, this is the ripest and most forward of Chapoutier`s holdings on the hill. On the nose, it`s a big, savoury red with gravy browning, lots of minerals and black, ripe fruit. The 2014 Chapoutier Le Meal Rouge is easy drinking yet a quite intellectual and cool wine. There is a long, mineral finish. Michel suggested we compare the red and white Meals. Interesting.
