2014 Chapoutier Cote Rotie Mordoree

This takes a while to open up and when first tasted gives juicy red and black fruit. The texture is woven and supple and has a fresh fruit finish. It is graphite fresh through the palate. Returning to it at the end of the tasting had it revealing a distinct garriguey, rosemary aroma, together with a developing tapenade hue. Delicious. (CW 19/05/15)
