2013 Meo-Camuzet Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras

The 2013 les Cras was showing very well indeed at the time of my visit, jumping from the glass in a blaze of black cherries, red plums, cocoa, a touch of nutskin, woodsmoke, vanillin oak and a complex and very classy base of soil tones. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and shows off outstanding mid-palate depth, with a nice sense of reserve, ripe tannins and excellent length and grip on the focused and tangy finish. A classic example of this outstanding terroir. 2023-2055+. 92+ points
