Neal Martin
The 2013 La Croix de Beaucaillou has a really quite lovely nose even if you ignore that this is a second wine, so much so that you might not nail this as a 2013: ebullient red berry fruit with mint and cassis. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, just a touch of dryness towards the finish but otherwise a commendable Croix de Beaucaillou. 89 points
