John Gilman
The 2013 Morey villages bottling from Domaine Fourrier is excellent, jumping from the glass in a very pure blend of red and black cherries, nutskin, vinesmoke, cocoa and a lovely base of soil tones. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, pure and nicely transparent, with a good core, modest tannins and a long, tangy and beautifully focused finish. This will drink with great style with only a few years of bottle age (mostly to let some of the secondary layers of complexity emerge). 2018-2035+. 89+ points

In the middle of the clos. Light ruby. Full, broad super-fruity nose. Quite sinewy finish. Chewy end. 16 points
