This is, as far as Luca Roagna is concerned, a young vine cuvee as the vines in question were only planted 45 years before the 2012 harvest. Be that as it may, this is one impressive wine. Great, classic aromatics followed by a ripe, sweet attack. The Paje is verys tructured but soft. In the mouth it is linear, ripe, elegant and strict but still has the fruit. The texture is lovely with very finely woven tannins. Paje finishes on its perfume. It is a very long finish from a wine with nothing out of place. (CW 04/12/17)
